MSI announces PRO MAX series at CES, spanning displays, PCs, and white DIY parts

MSI has introduced its new PRO MAX Series, a unified lineup that covers monitors, desktop PCs, all-in-one PCs, and a set of white DIY components. The company says the series is built around a consistent design language and a workflow focused on multitasking, image work, and data-heavy tasks.
The first monitor in the range is the PRO MAX 271UPXW12G, using a 26.5-inch UHD QD-OLED panel with an anti-glare, low-reflection surface treatment and 3H hardness. MSI lists Delta E ≤ 2 color accuracy and an M-Color Mode aimed at matching MacBook color output. It also supports MacBook shortcut key control for brightness and volume, plus a KVM feature to control up to three devices with one keyboard and mouse. MSI also highlights 166 PPI to reduce text fringing, along with OLED Care 3.0 features intended to limit burn-in and save power when idle.
The PRO MAX X870E-A WIFI motherboard lists PCIe Gen 5 support, dual 5G and 2.5G LAN, Wi-Fi 7, and USB 40 Gbps, plus a 64 MB BIOS ROM. The PRO MAX 1000PL power supply uses a 12V-2×6 connector and carries 80 Plus Platinum certification, with MSI also referencing compliance with EU ErP Lot 3 requirements.

MSI says connectivity includes up to 10 USB Type-A ports and 1 USB Type-C port, plus a USB disable function for IT control. The cases are designed for easier servicing with thumb screws, and MSI calls out Kensington lock support, a padlock loop, and chassis intrusion detection.

These models use AMD Ryzen 7 H 255 processors with integrated Radeon 780M graphics, paired with a 120 Hz display and a 10-point touchscreen. MSI lists a tool-less design, a 5MP pop-up camera, and a 4-way adjustable stand that supports tilt, height, pivot, and swivel.
The PRO MAX 030 case supports ATX and microATX boards, up to a 360 mm AIO, and a front USB 20 Gbps Type-C port, with a magnetic front logo. The PRO MAX M15 360 cooler includes a 360 mm radiator and a pump housing with a built-in display for system monitoring.
