ASUS CES 2026 Zenbook update: DUO Goes Dual 14-inch 3K OLED as Zenbook A16 Debuts Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme

ASUS’s CES 2026 Zenbook and Vivobook refresh leans on two themes: more OLED across the stack, and wider platform coverage across I ntel Core Ultra Series 3, AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series, and Snapdragon X2. Yes, ASUS is using all three CPU vendors for this generation.
In case you are not familiar with the series, Zenbook stays positioned as the premium line, with dual-screen productivity on DUO, thin-and-light designs on A and S, and longer battery targets on the Snapdragon models. Vivobook continues as the volume option, mixing OLED and high-refresh IPS panels while keeping full I/O and Copilot+ PC features on the latest CPUs.
Zenbook DUO 2026: two 14-inch 3K OLED screens and Core Ultra Series 3
ASUS is updating the Zenbook DUO (UX8407AA) with a full Ceraluminum chassis and two 14-inch 3K OLED displays under the “Lumina Pro” label. The CPU listed is Intel Core Ultra X9 Series 3, paired with a dual-battery 99Wh setup, and ASUS says the cooling redesign supports up to 45W TDP using two high-blade-count fans and larger vents.

The chassis design also gets workflow-focused updates: a reinforced Bluetooth keyboard, a revised hinge and integrated stand, and MagLatch docking with retractable pins for alignment and charging. ASUS says ScreenXpert now enables cross-screen sharing tools when the system is opened flat, with quicker access to screen previews and annotation tools, and it calls out a six-speaker audio setup.
Zenbook A16 and A14: Snapdragon X2 focus, OLED displays, and weight targets
The Zenbook A16 (UX3607OA) is positioned as the first Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme laptop, using an 18-core chip with 80 TOPS AI performance. ASUS pairs that with a 16-inch 3K OLED display, a Ceraluminum chassis, and a 1.2 kg weight claim, plus full I/O and a full-size SD card reader. ASUS also quotes over 21 hours of use under its test conditions.
The smaller Zenbook A14 (UX3407NA) stays under 1 kg, also using an 18-core Snapdragon X2 Elite with 80 TOPS AI performance, and ASUS quotes over 33 hours of offline video playback under its test conditions.
Worth adding that we recently shared a leak from retailers that suggested there is a €200 gap between both systems.
Zenbook S14 and S16
ASUS is also refreshing the Zenbook S line with a 1.1 cm thin chassis design in Ceraluminum. The 14-inch model is listed with Intel Core Ultra 9 Series 3 , while the 16-inch model is tied to AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series. Display specs include up to a 3K 120Hz OLED panel with up to 1,100 nits peak brightness, with a four-speaker setup on S14 and a six-speaker system with front-facing tweeters on S16.
Vivobook S14 and S16: broader CPU options and OLED or high-refresh IPS
The Vivobook S14/S16 range spans 14-inch and 16-inch sizes with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 or AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series o ptions across the line. Selected 16-inch models also offer an 18-core Snapdragon X2 Elite configuration with up to 80 TOPS AI performance. ASUS lists a 70Wh battery, full I/O, a large touchpad with gesture controls, and a mix of AI features such as noise cancelation and ASUS 3DNR video enhancement.
Display options include OLED WUXGA (1920 x 1200) or IPS 2.5K (2560 x 1600) at 144Hz, plus Dolby Atmos audio. ASUS also lists a 1.59 cm thickness and 1.35 kg weight for the series, plus Windows Hello camera support, Microsoft Pluton, and voice print features.
More details are to follow soon.
