Mad Catz brought their latest fleet of gaming peripherals and game controllers to the 2026 International CES. We begin our tour with the MMO 7, their latest enthusiast-segment gaming mouse suited for the MMORPG game genres, with a unique 22-button layout that includes 21 programmable inputs. It includes the Mad Catz innovated 5D button for multi-command inputs. There are both vertical and horizontal scroll wheels. A software application lets you reprogram all its buttons suited to your game. Its thumb and palm rests can be adjusted. The mouse supports both wired (the least latency) and 2.4 GHz RF wireless modes, there's no Bluetooth mode. Its internal rechargeable battery provides up to 40 hours of gameplay in wireless mode with the lighting off.
The Mad Catz STRAFE is a one-handed keypad suited that gives you 27 keys, including the all important WASD cluster. This is meant to be used left of your main keyboard, so you get a more ergonomic handle on those keys. It supports wired, 2.4 GHz RF, and Bluetooth connectivity. The keypad uses Hall effect key switches with 40 adjustable variable actuation points, and a tested durability of 100 million keystrokes. Much like the MMO 7, the STRAFE comes with a comprehensive software suite that lets you remap all its keys. The keypad comes with RGB lighting, and local storage for up to 5 key maps. With the lighting off, its internal battery provides up to 60 hours of gameplay in RF mode.
