Your keyboard IS the PC

HP used CES 2026 to show the EliteBoard G1a, a full Windows PC built into what looks like a normal office keyboard. Plug it into a monitor over USB-C, power it on, and use the bundled pre-paired mouse like a small desktop.
Inside, the EliteBoard G1a uses an AMD Ryzen AI 300 series processor and targets Copilot+ PC requirements with up to 50 TOPS of NPU compute. Graphics come from the integrated Radeon 800M class iGPU.

HP is pitching it for shared desks and hot-desking, so the design comes in two versions: one with an attached USB-C cable and one with a detachable cable. The platform is built around serviceable laptop parts, including DDR5 SODIMM memory and an M.2 NVMe SSD, and there is an optional fingerprint reader. HP also calls out a spill-resistant, easy-clean keyboard and a fast keyboard module swap claim aimed at IT teams.

Power is configurable, with an optional internal battery that HP says can keep the system running for a few hours away from a desk. Display support is handled over USB-C, with reports claiming dual 4K via daisy chain and up to four 4K monitors at 60Hz depending on setup and ports.
