HAVN unveils XR 1000W platinum A++ psu for ATX 3.1 builds

HAVN has announced its first XR Series power supply at CES in Las Vegas. The model is called HAVN XR 1000W Platinum A++ and targets high end gaming and workstation PCs with a focus on low noise and tight voltage control.
The company says the unit is built around the ATX 3.1 spec and uses a 12V-2×6 dual connector. HAVN also claims minimal deviation during fast load changes, plus low voltage deviation on the 12V rail to better handle modern GPUs and multi core CPUs.

For acoustics, HAVN lists noise under 15 dB(A) and a Cybenetics A++ rating. Cooling uses a decoupled H Series fan, a die cast aluminum top, and an intake design meant to guide airflow toward the fan hub and blades. The PSU also includes a 5VSB standby rail designed for Intel C6/C7 power states and Alternative Low Power Mode support.
- Advanced cooling design: Combines a fully decoupled H Series cooling fan with a monopart die-cast aluminum top and aerodynamically optimized intake, guiding airflow efficiently toward the harmonized fan hub and blades.
- Ultra-quiet acoustics: Noise performance of under 15 dB(A) with exceptionally silent operation, resulting in a Cybenetics A++ rating.
- ATX 3.1 transient response: Minimal deviation during rapid load changes, ensuring highly stable power delivery for next-gen GPUs and multi-core CPUs.
- 12V rail stability: Extremely low voltage deviation on the 12V rail with a 2×6 dual connector for ultra-stable output to demanding graphics cards.
- High-efficiency standby rail: 5-volt standby (5VSB) rail with modern Intel C6/C7 power state and Alternative Low Power Mode support, reducing waste in low power and standby modes.
