Gigabyte launches its new OLED lineup

GIGABYTE has announced four new OLED gaming monitors at CES 2026, introducing major display performance upgrades through its new HyperNits and AI Picture Mode technologies. The new lineup focuses on improving both HDR and SDR visual quality, addressing common OLED brightness limitations while refining user control and in-game responsiveness.
HyperNits is a new HDR tuning feature that dynamically adjusts brightness using an adaptive algorithm to reshape the EOTF curve, increasing luminance by up to 30% without clipping highlights. Users can select between “High” and “Medium” modes, providing either maximum brightness enhancement or a balanced 20% boost in darker rooms. The company’s updated HDR Picture Modes HDR Movie, HDR Game, and HDR Vivid further fine-tune tone mapping for different use cases.

For SDR content, GIGABYTE introduces AI Picture Mode, trained on large datasets to automatically adapt contrast, gamma, and color balance for each activity. It can reduce blue light for office work, optimize contrast for cinematic playback, or activate AI Black Equalizer in competitive games to improve shadow visibility. Adjustments occur in real time, maintaining consistent visual balance across applications.
All new monitors continue to feature GIGABYTE’s proprietary Tactical Features, including Tactical Switch 2.0 for one-click resolution and aspect ratio changes, and Ultra Clear for reduced motion blur and improved sharpness in fast-paced gameplay.

The CES 2026 lineup includes:
- MO34WQC36 a 34-inch ultra-wide curved QD-OLED with 3440×1440 resolution, 360 Hz refresh rate, and DisplayHDR True Black 500. It adopts a new V-stripe sub-pixel layout for sharper text and improved color precision.
- MO32U24 a 31.5-inch 4K QD-OLED display with 240 Hz refresh rate and the same HDR True Black 500 certification.
- MO27Q28GR a 27-inch RealBlack Glossy 4th-gen WOLED panel, UL-certified for superior black performance in bright rooms.
- MO27Q2A ICE a 27-inch QD-OLED model available in a new white finish.

All models integrate the new ObsidianShield anti-reflection film (yes the same thing as ASUS and MSI), improving perceived black levels by up to 40% and increasing surface hardness from 2H to 3H for 2.5× greater scratch resistance.
With the addition of HyperNits , AI Picture Mode, and enhanced materials, GIGABYTE’s latest OLED monitors aim to deliver a more consistent and durable high-end viewing experience across gaming and productivity.
