CPU-Z 2.18 released with 290K+, 9850X3D and Medusa Point (Zen6) support

CPU-Z adds support for new unreleased CPUs

CPU-Z 2.18 adds detection for several unreleased CPUs, based on the changelog. On the AMD side, the update lists Ryzen 7 9850X3D (Granite Ridge) and Ryzen 5 7500X3D (Raphael). There is no mention of the teased “9950X3D2” part, even though AMD has hinted that another X3D SKU is coming.

The build also adds preliminary support for AMD Medusa Point, which is expected to be a next-gen Zen 6 mobile platform. Timing is not confirmed, but a CES 2027 window would line up with a typical mobile cadence.

Intel gets entries for Core Ultra 9 290K Plus, Ultra 7 270K Plus, and Ultra 5 250K Plus under “Arrow Lake Refresh,” even though Intel has not announced an Arrow Lake Refresh desktop lineup yet.
