GeForce RTX 50 Blower series now available in China
Blower-style GeForce cards built for AI workloads are showing up for sale in bulk on Chinese marketplaces. We have seen this idea in renders for a while. Now there are listings that look like real stock, not one-off mods.
These are not official custom variants from the usual AIB partners. What’s happening here is that certain AI companies take a normal retail card and swap the cooler for a two-slot blower shroud. When there’s a memory upgrade involved, they also remove the GPU and memory from the original board and put on a new one. This may still be happening here, the difference is that we still don’t see these high-capacity models.
Why are these cards even a thing? AI shops often want to pack more GPUs into one chassis. Big 3 to 4 slot open-air coolers are not made for that, and they dump heat inside the case. A blower card pushes heat out the rear and keeps spacing predictable.

Rumors also say these shops are working on higher-VRAM models. The two that keep coming up are an RTX 5090 96GB using the same 3GB GDDR7 path as NVIDIA’s RTX PRO 6000, and an RTX 5080 32GB that we recently covered . Right now, there is still no clear sign of either card being sold openly. Here’s what’s actually on sale:

What is new in this round is that the “blower conversion” is no longer limited to the top end. Listings now include RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5060 Ti (16GB) models getting the same treatment. They didn’t share photos of these cards though.
Interestingly, RTX 5090, RTX 5090D, and RTX 5090D are all V2 listed together. That’s despite RTX 5090 not being (officially) available in China. Here’s how much they cost:
