The screenshot shows a letter from Guangzhou Xinhongzheng Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. addressed to agents. It cites rising upstream material costs, listing copper, silver, and tin as examples. The company says suppliers stopped accepting new orders at the old pricing starting January 6, and that new orders will be calculated using updated prices.

In the notice, the company estimates a 6% to 10% cost increase for power supplies and a 6% to 8% cost increase for coolers. It also encourages partners to place and reserve orders during January, with fulfillment depending on existing inventory and shipment priority.

The letter adds that starting February 1, all promotional policies will be canceled. It claims that once “normal pricing” resumes, more than 90% of items will see an additional upward adjustment on top of the base price, aligned with the same percentage range mentioned earlier. Retail impact will depend on distribution, but Chinese media suggests street pricing could rise more than buyers expect, and availability may remain uneven if factories prioritize based on inventory.

We could not independently verify details about Guangzhou Xinhongzheng Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. through public sources, and we could not confirm whether any larger, known cooling brands are connected to the company. For now, treat the notice as an indicator of potential channel-side pricing pressure, not a confirmed industry-wide announcement.
