New NVIDIA N1X laptop spotted, so is it still coming?
Watching NVIDIA CES keynotes reminds me of Knives Out movies. You are trying to solve the riddle of who took the consumer products out of the keynote. The post-keynote GeForce update did not even have any new GPUs, not even a special or limited edition model, nothing.
We did, however, have some expectations, including RTX 50 SUPER, which, as we recall, was pushed back, and some say it is indefinitely paused at this point. But we also wanted to hear an update on the NVIDIA N1 series. Jensen admitted it is the same chip that goes into DGX Spark, a premium $3,000 to $4,000 mini PC for AI development. But there was nothing.
As a short reminder, NVIDIA is long rumored to be working on N1 series SoCs based on ARM architecture . These pair ARM CPU cores and Blackwell GPUs, and they were supposedly coming to laptops (N1X) and desktops (N1). Jensen casually mentioned the GB10 Blackwell Superchip in DGX Spark is part of the N1 series. Based on leaks, the two share the same specs.
The graphics reportedly have 6,144 CUDA cores, so this should be more than capable for gaming. However, NVIDIA does not offer Windows drivers for DGX Spark, so the least we got were Linux emulation tests.

The question is whether the N1 series is ever coming, or if this is a long-lost product that should have launched at least a year ago. Apparently, Dell was working on a laptop powered by an N1X ES2 chip as early as late November . Keep in mind this was a few weeks before Dell announced it is returning to XPS branding, so the Premium 16 OLED name you see is likely outdated.
Also, if you recall, we leaked a roadmap from Dell a while ago , and it listed Intel Panther Lake, AMD, and Qualcomm products. It did not mention the NVIDIA N1 series at all, but a lot could have changed since then.
