8bitDo at the International CES showed off its host of Retro Receivers. These are dongles that let you connect modern USB game controllers and other peripherals to actual retro consoles across the 2nd to 6th generation console era, spanning everything from 8-bit from the 1980s thru 16-bit from the early 1990s, and 32-bit from the mid-1990s thru late-2000s.

We've seen receivers for NES, SNES, Genesis, PlayStation 1, Saturn, GameCube, and more. The company also showed us their entire selection of game controllers, both modern and retro, including period-accurate and directly compatible arcade sticks. The 8bitDo Ultimate Arcade Stick comes with an 8-position stick, along with eight smash-friendly buttons. There are selectors that let you switch between various console types.
