Targus subsidiary Hyper, had some rather interesting products on display at this year's CES, at least if you're looking for accessories for your notebooks that stick out a bit from the crowd. First up is the HyperSpace Trackpad Pro which the company claims is the first "premium haptic trackpad" that has been designed specifically for use with Windows. Hyper claims it has zero latency input, a 240 Hz report rate and pressure sensing for up to 10 fingers.
Next up we have the new HyperDrive Next USB4 M.2 PCIe enclosure that is said to support USB4 V2, suggesting it's based on an Intel JHL9480 Thunderbolt 5 accessory controller, as no other chip supports 80 Gbps throughput (limited to 64 Gbps for data). Note that the product name implies that the device isn't limited to just storage, as Hyper claims it can be used for connecting other M.2 add-in cards to your computer. It's unclear if the second Type-C port allows for daisy changing, but it should support 25 W power input for devices that require more power than the Thunderbolt interface can deliver.
