Akko Presents Air 01 Low-Profile & Ray68 Keyboard Models

Akko showed off a wide range of keyboards at last week's CES trade show, but the majority of products on display were already well known properties. The Chinese brand touted a refreshed M1 V5 TMR model for 2026 in pre-event press material, but the TechPowerUp team did not spot any specimens at the company's booth. We suspect that Akko had actually sold a fair few of its exhibited items to showroom visitors, by the time TPU staffers turned up in-person. Fortunately, two fairly new models were still sitting around for inspection purposes.

Starting with the sleek and slim Air 01 model—this low-profile mechanical keyboard has been prepped with Mac users in mind, although other platforms are supported via tri-mode connectivity. Akko has opted for precision CNC-machined aluminium construction, resulting in a premium feel combined with a sturdy feel yet lightweight property. The brand's latest low profile switches have been implemented on silicone gaskets—leading to a smooth typing experience. The Air 01 features PBT dye-sublimated premium keycaps. Apparently, the board houses an integrated RGB lighting system, but TechPowerUp did not take a moment time to fire up this decorative aspect. Akko started promoting their Air 01 low-profile model last November, with retail availability rolled out within a short timeframe.
