Acemagic retro Mini-PC with AMD “Gorgon Point”

Shortly before CES, ACEMAGIC announced that it would bring an NES-inspired retro mini PC to the show floor, and it did. What’s new is that the company had two systems on display, both with a retro touch. ACEMAGIC says the other design pulls from classic consoles such as the Sega Dreamcast and the original PlayStation.
The new Dreamcast/PlayStation-inspired system is called the Board 3 Dual-C Retro Style . It has two buttons on the top edge next to a circular detail meant to resemble a top-loading disc drive. Up front, ACEMAGIC adds a dedicated power button and a small I/O strip with USB Type-A, USB Type-C, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
On the hardware side, ACEMAGIC pairs the chassis with AMD’s new “Gorgon Point” platform. TechPowerUp reports a Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 with a 12-core, 24-thread CPU and an embedded Radeon 890M iGPU with 16 compute units. ACEMAGIC also lists up to 64 GB of memory (SO-DIMM). It’s also worth adding that the company showcased Intel Core Ultra 300 “Panther Lake” systems, but those did not look nearly as cool.

The company claims support for up to two 4 TB M.2 PCIe 5.0 NVMe drives, depending on configuration. Acemagic puts the chassis at about 0.73 liters, with dimensions listed as 140 x 128 x 40.8 mm.
Pricing and a launch date were not shared at CES.
