MSI is giving away a single GeForce RTX 5090 32G LIGHTNING Z
MSI has started a “Break Your Limit” social campaign tied to the newly announced GeForce RTX 5090 32G LIGHTNING Z. The page labels the card as the return of the LIGHTNING line and centers the marketing around extreme overclocking.
To enter, MSI asks users to find the “Break Your Limit” post on MSI Gaming social channels and comment with the hashtag #LightningBreakLimit . The prize list includes an RTX 5090 LIGHTNING Z “STRIKE PRO + VERSA PRO Set,” plus an RTX 5070 VANGUARD Launch Edition.

The catch is that the giveaway appears to be for one RTX 5090 LIGHTNING Z. MSI also says the RTX 5090 LIGHTNING Z will be made in a limited run of 1,300 units worldwide . That helps explain the tight giveaway, but it still feels small for a launch moment built around exclusivity.
Perhaps there will be more cards, just limited to certain social media posts, so keep your eye on local accounts. MSI Japan , for instance, mentioned that the promotion runs from January 13 until February 10, so there’s plenty of time to come up with ideas for social posts.
