NVIDIA App 11.0.6 stable is not here yet
NVIDIA appears to have pushed back the stable rollout of the NVIDIA App update that enables DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution overrides without opting into beta features. The company’s GeForce blog post now says the update “launches next week,” replacing the earlier “January 13th” wording that circulated last week.

The beta build in question is NVIDIA App 11.0.6. It adds DLSS Override controls that let users force the new DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution model globally or per game. Inside the app, the key toggle is DLSS Override: Model Presets under the Graphics section. Setting it to “Latest” maps to the new Super Resolution presets, with Model M treated as the “Latest” option, and Model L also available.

NVIDIA also continues moving Control Panel functions into the app. The 11.0.6 beta includes the remaining NVIDIA Surround options under System > Displays, plus bezel correction and hotkeys. It also expands Advanced Optimus reporting on laptops and adds a Debug Mode toggle that disables overclocking and voltage tweaks until the next reboot.
If users want DLSS 4.5 overrides today, the path still looks the same. Opt into the beta branch inside the NVIDIA App, then install GeForce Game Ready Driver 591.74 , which NVIDIA posted on January 5, 2026.
