Adrenalin driver with AI focus releasing next week

More AI stuff is coming.

AMD has announced an upcoming “AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition AI Bundle”, described as an optional, streamlined installer meant to set up local AI tooling on AMD-powered systems. AMD positions the bundle around AI development and creator workflows, not game features.

At CES 2026, AMD announced that AI Bundle is meant to reduce setup effort for local AI work. AMD also claimed the package will provide access to popular apps for image generation and local LLM use, plus new PyTorch support on Windows. This software update was mentioned in the Ryzen AI 400 series announcement and upcoming ROCm update (posted below). It appears that the AI Bundle will launch next week with the Adrenalin 26.1.1 drivers.

There hasn’t been much of an update for gamers since last year’s Redstone release. Many Radeon owners keep waiting for clearer updates on FSR support scope, tuning, and how older GPUs fit into the plan. Unfortunately, it seems AMD is now focusing on AI, even on Radeon GPUs.

AMD’s announcement confirmed the AI Bundle rollout for January 21, in other words, there’s Adrenalin 26.1.1 launching on this day.
