Two Intel partners confirm they have no B770 yet
Since CES 2026 did not bring any Arc B770 updates, we decided to ask around to see what is happening with the project. Intel appears to be keeping details tightly controlled, to the point where there is little to report publicly.
Two Intel add-in-card partners say Intel has not provided Arc B770 test boards to them yet. Intel also has not shared final specifications either, and both partners said they cannot confirm whether the product is still on track to launch.
One partner said test boards do exist, but only inside Intel’s own labs for now. That partner has no Arc B770 hardware on hand and has not been told when boards might be shipped out.
This does not mean Arc B770 is cancelled. Intel could start with a reference design and expand to partners later, but right now it is unclear. What is clear is that production lead time is not short: it often takes six weeks or more from receiving final board specifications and hardware to ramp manufacturing, and timelines vary by vendor.
That may be why Arc B770 has been quiet. Based on Intel activity with BMG-G31 software enablement, the project is still in motion, but the scope remains unclear, including whether it will show up as a consumer product.
