007 First Light will need 16GB RAM, not 32GB
IO Interactive has published revised PC system requirements for 007 First Light after fans spotted errors in the original chart that circulated earlier this month.
The studio says the earlier listing came from an internal mix-up that led to an older version being shared. IO Interactive also says more performance targets will be shared closer to launch.
Updated PC requirements (updated)
Minimum (1080p, 30 FPS)
- CPU: Intel Core i5-9500 or AMD Ryzen 5 3500
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 or AMD RX 5700 (plus “Intel discrete GPU equivalent”)
- RAM: 16GB
- VRAM: 6GB
- Storage: 80GB
- OS: Windows 10/11 64-bit
Recommended (1080p, 60 FPS)
- CPU: Intel Core i5-13500 or AMD Ryzen 5 7600
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti or AMD RX 6700 XT (plus “Intel discrete GPU equivalent”)
- RAM: 16GB
- VRAM: 8GB
- Storage: 80GB
- OS: Windows 10/11 64-bit
What was wrong with the earlier version

The earlier chart listed 32GB RAM and 12GB VRAM for the recommended spec, and it also included a Core i5-9500K on the minimum CPU line.
That “9500K” detail was a red flag on its own, since Intel’s Core i5-9500 does not have a K variant. The old chart also called for 8GB VRAM at minimum while pairing that with a GTX 1660 class GPU, which is commonly a 6GB card, making the mismatch easier to spot.

PC requirements get adjusted, but it is rare to see a studio publish a spec chart, leave obvious inconsistencies live, then come back days later to label the whole thing an internal mistake.
007 First Light is currently listed for release on May 27, 2026 on PC and current consoles.
