Acer Expands ProCreator Lineup with PE270KT Dual-Mode 4K Monitor

Acer extended its ProCreator lineup of monitors for professional creators with the PE270KT, a budget-friendly 27-inch IPS monitor positioned below the existing ProCreator PE270XT 5K (5120 × 2880) model. While the PE270XT launched last year targets high resolution, the PE270KT focuses on flexibility, offering a dual-mode panel that runs at 4K up to 72 Hz or switches to Full HD at 144 Hz via Dynamic Frame Rate (DFR). Since it's geared towards graphic professionals, the PE270KT supports 10-point touch and feature 99% Adobe RGB, 99% DCI-P3 color coverage and is Calman-verified. It also offers 350 nits typical brightness (400 nits HDR peak), and VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification. Connectivity includes HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and USB-C with 90 W power delivery, along with an integrated USB hub, Auto KVM support, an adjustable 8 MP webcam, and dual 5 W speakers.

The ProCreator PE270XT, launched last year, starts at €899, while the newly introduced ProCreator PE270KT is priced at NT$15,980 in Taiwan, or roughly €435. Above the PE270KT and PE270XT, Acer's ProCreator lineup also includes the 32-inch ProCreator PE320QXT with a 6K (6016 × 3384) IPS panel, as well as the ProCreator PE320QK X, which features a 4K UHD QD-OLED panel for users prioritizing contrast and response times.
