Samsung’s Panther Lake laptops come with a higher price
Samsung Electronics has posted a Korea launch page for the Galaxy Book6 series after the CES 2026 reveal, showing early specs and base pricing for select Pro and Ultra configurations.
The listed Galaxy Book6 Pro configs share 32GB LPDDR5X and a 1TB NVMe SSD. Samsung shows two screen sizes, 35.6cm (14-inch) and 40.6cm (16-inch), both paired with an Intel Core Ultra X7 processor (Series 3) and Intel Arc Graphics.

Galaxy Book6 Ultra is shown as a 40.6cm model with an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor (Series 3) and NVIDIA Laptop GPU options. Samsung lists RTX 5060 and RTX 5070 variants, again with 32GB memory and 1TB storage. Worth adding that the last-gen models with Lunar Lake, did not have Ultra 5 option.
On Samsung’s own Korea launch pricing, Galaxy Book6 Pro sits far above the prior Pro ranges from launch press releases. For reference, Samsung priced Galaxy Book5 Pro at 1,768,000 to 2,808,000 KRW, while Galaxy Book4 Pro was 1,880,000 to 2,890,000 KRW.
Samsung Korea lists Galaxy Book6 Pro at 3,410,000 KRW (14-inch) and 3,510,000 KRW (16-inch). Galaxy Book6 Ultra is listed at 4,630,000 KRW with RTX 5060, or 4,930,000 KRW with RTX 5070, and the page shows a Korea on-sale time of January 27 at 09:00.
Samsung has not yet announced pricing for the US market, but Korean pricing for Book 6 Ultra converted to USD starts at 2341 USD (around 2106 USD without VAT). The Ultra model costs around 3140 USD (2857 USD without VAT).
