The leaked clip is described as a standard pre-order trailer and includes messaging for a Deluxe Edition. Reports also say mirrors of the trailer started disappearing after takedowns, suggesting rightsholder action rather than an ordinary deletion.
Bungie has only confirmed a March 2026 launch window so far, without an exact day. The studio’s December update also set expectations for a paid release with post-launch gameplay updates.
Marathon is set for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC as a multiplayer extraction shooter. The current window follows a previous delay, with Bungie citing testing feedback and feature changes during the rebuild.
