Our latest gameplay trailer introduces one of the many characters you'll meet on Tau Ceti: Gantry, the MIDA faction agent. Factions and their agents are one of the ways you'll experience the story and world of Marathon. As you complete contracts for each of the six factions, you'll learn more about their identities, motivations, and rivalries as you work together to uncover the mysteries of Tau Ceti's fate.

Combining world design, gameplay, and discoverable narrative to build a rich, living world to discover is key to Marathon's DNA. Completing contracts, finding narrative items, and other achievements will unlock entries in your Codex, which you can view outside of your runs. As you collect the colony's lost audio and text logs, stumble across cryptic graffiti, dig into abandoned colony systems, and aid factions in pursuit of their various goals, you'll begin a journey into the unknown that is only just beginning.
