ASUS ProArt displays add Mac-focused color sync and on-device profile storage

ASUS adds macOS controls and Mac-matched color mode to ProArt displays

ASUS has rolled out new Mac-focused features for select ProArt monitors via firmware updates and a macOS version of ASUS DisplayWidget Center. The update targets MacBook, Mac mini, and Mac Studio setups.

The macOS app lets users change common monitor settings from the desktop, including brightness, contrast, and color temperature. MacBook brightness keys can also control the monitor brightness when the cursor is on the ProArt display.

A new “ M Model P3 ” preset is designed to align ProArt color output with a connected MacBook for more consistent color between the two screens. ASUS positions the feature for color-sensitive work like photo editing, video production, and design.
