Razer recently refreshed its DeathAdder gaming mouse, launching the DeathAdder V4 Pro and leaving fans of the symmetrical Viper series wondering when they will get their dues. It seems as though the wait will be drawing to a close, with what looks like a camouflaged Razer Viper V4 Pro popping up at a recent VCT Americas Valorant tournament (spotted by Wasabi on X ). The mouse was being used by Rose from BBL, and other than the fact that the shape looks about the same as the Viper V3 Pro, not much is known about the prospective Viper V4 Pro.

What is evident from the screenshots posted on X is that the Viper V4 Pro will use the redesigned dome receiver that was also present in the updated DeathAdder V4 Pro, suggesting that the underlying tech will get the same upgrades. This means that the Viper V4 Pro will likely feature the same Focus Pro 45K Optical Sensor Gen-2, 8K polling rate, and general technical capabilities as the DeathAdder V4 Pro. There will also likely be a slight weight reduction as there was with the DeathAdder—all but a necessity these days in order to compete with the flood of cheap, ultralight gaming mice from Chinese vendors. The sighting of the presumed Viper V4 Pro also sparked speculation about the possibility of a Viper V4 Pro Mini. No release date has yet been leaked or rumored, but it seems as though 2026 is a likely candidate.
