Leak confirms NVIDIA N1X in Windows on ARM gaming laptop
Well this is big news if it turns out to be true. The writing is on the wall, and the leaks are coming from Lenovo itself, which listed unreleased laptops early.
The key thing to understand is that Lenovo product coding is quite easy to read. It is basically the laptop screen size, and the first letter after that is the platform: A = AMD, I = Intel, Q = Qualcomm. Lenovo has now seemingly confirmed that NVIDIA-based laptops are coming soon.
Spotted by dataminer Huang514613, here are the first Lenovo laptops that appear to be powered by NVIDIA N1X and N1 SoCs:
- Ideapad Slim 5 14N1V11 ➡️ NVIDIA N1
- Ideapad Slim 5 16N1V11 ➡️ NVIDIA N1
- Yoga pro 7 15N1V11 ➡️ NVIDIA N1
- Yoga Yro 7 15N1X11 ➡️ NVIDIA N1
- Yoga 9 2-in-1 16N1X11 ➡️ NVIDIA N1X
- Legion 7 15N1X11 ➡️ NVIDIA N1X
This suggests that, contrary to earlier rumors, both N1 and N1X are laptop SKUs. N1X was often described as a desktop chip, but these leaks more likely referred to mini PCs at most. It also suggests Lenovo will ship a gaming laptop (Legion) powered by this platform, which is a direct competitor to Qualcomm, but with a stronger GPU focus.
Qualcomm’s X1 and X2 series are not focused on gaming systems, even if the X2 Adreno GPU is expected to be at least 2x faster than its predecessor. These are still low-power chips, and Qualcomm seems more focused on power efficiency than gaming performance.
If accurate, the 15-inch Legion 7 (15N1X11) could be the first true gaming system for Windows 11 on ARM.

What’s inside NVIDIA N1X
Based on the available information, N1X appears to be the same chip used in DGX Spark, at least on paper. That includes a 20-core ARM CPU paired with a 6,144-core Blackwell CUDA GPU. DGX Spark is listed at 120 W, so the laptop variant would likely ship with a lower default power target. Still, plenty of laptops already operate in that range, and USB-C power delivery can handle it.
The N1/N1X series are also confirmed for Dell XPS systems and based on the latest rumors, the N1 systems will be presented this quarter with second quarter availability. Last year we also saw news that Microsoft is updating Windows 11 specifically for NVIDIA and Qualcomm new chips.
