ZOTAC cancels RTX 50 orders, relists cards at higher prices
Buyers report that the ZOTAC Store canceled RTX 50-series orders placed during a recent drop, then put the same cards back on sale at higher prices shortly after. The cancellation emails cited a “system error,” and the store later went unavailable for a period:

ZOTAC’s own policy page says an order can be canceled within 1 business day if the order has not shipped. The same page also says ZOTAC USA can adjust listings and pricing, and disclaims liability for listing errors. Obviously that’s their right, but the question is likely, are customers to ever return to this store after they suddenly ask you to pay hundreds more?
The Reddit thread that brought attention to the change claims those RTX 5090 prices were $2,299, $2,399, and $2,449 before the relist, and that RTX 5080 pricing moved from $999 to $1,249.

Pricing pressure is already visible across the RTX 5090 market. Recent reports say RTX 5090 stock has been scarce at major US retailers, with third-party listings often landing in the $3,500 to $4,500 range already. It doesn’t look good for RTX 5090 buyers, that’s for sure. This puts ZOTAC in an even worse light, given that they were supposed to have the so-called MSRP models, but based on Der8auer’s report, that may no longer be the case.
Since this news appeared, we tried to enter the ZOTAC website, however it has been under maintenance mode for over 24 hours. Turns out the store is blocking non-US traffic.
