AMD’s EEC lists AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2, dual 3D V-Cache desktop CPU

AMD has added “Ryzen 9 9950X3D2” to a recent Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) filing. The EAEU notifications register now shows the SKU name tied to AMD International Sales & Service, which is the clearest public paper trail for the “X3D2” model so far.
The CPU did not appear in AMD’s CES 2026 desktop X3D messaging. When asked about the part during CES briefings, AMD told some outlets to “stay tuned,” without giving specs or timing.

The “Ryzen 9 9950X3D2” name has circulated in leaks since at least August 2025, alongside the Ryzen 7 9850X3D. If the leaks are accurate, the main change is 3D V-Cache on both CCDs, for 192 MB total L3 cache, instead of the current mixed-cache approach used by Ryzen 9 9950X3D.
The mixed-cache design can push users into game profiles or manual tuning to keep games on the preferred CCD. A dual-cache layout would remove the “one CCD for gaming, one CCD for clocks” split, at least at the hardware level. Clock speeds and TDP are still unknown, and the 200 W figure remains a rumor.
AMD has confirmed Ryzen 7 9850X3D launches on January 29 for $499, but AMD has not shared a date for Ryzen 9 9950X3D2.
