Lenovo Legion gaming laptop with AMD Strix Halo shows up alongside NVIDIA N1X update

Lenovo Legion 7 15ASH11 is likely powered by AMD Strix Halo

List of gaming laptops using only AMD Ryzen AI MAX 300 is growing.

Lenovo’s Legion Space compatibility page now lists a model called Legion 7 15ASH11 alongside other unannounced systems. This is actually the same page that listed Legion 7 15N1X11, which is a rumored Legion laptop powered by NVIDIA N1/N1X .

The 15ASH11 entry looks like another platform-coded model name. In this case, “SH” lines up with the shorthand often used for AMD’s Ryzen AI Max 300 series (Strix Halo) , which AMD has been promoting under the Ryzen AI Max 300 branding.

AMD Strix Halo has been almost nonexistent in laptops for most of the past year. Some exclusive deals were made with ASUS, which introduced ROG tablets based on the platform. Now it looks like AMD is changing course and allowing more partners to release Strix Halo systems, with a stronger focus on gaming.

At CES 2025, ASUS introduced a TUF Gaming A14 variant built around a Ryzen AI Max+ 392 with Radeon 8060S integrated graphics, positioning the chip inside a mainstream gaming lineup rather than a workstation-only niche.

For now, Lenovo’s page does not include specs, photos, or timing for Legion 7 15ASH11. The only concrete detail is the model name appearing in the Legion Space supported-products list. Worth adding that AMD is preparing a refresh of Strix Halo, known as Gorgon Halo, which would be introduced in the first half of this year, but launched closer to the end of this year.
