ASUS GPU Tweak III update adds Level Sense support for ROG Astral graphics cards

ASUS brings Level Sense tilt detection to ROG Astral GPUs via GPU Tweak III update

ASUS has updated GPU Tweak III to add the “Level Sense” feature for ROG Astral and ROG Astral BTF Edition graphics cards. The same release notes also mention stability and usability improvements.

Level Sense is an anti-sag check built into GPU Tweak III. ASUS says the feature uses onboard sensors to detect when the graphics card is no longer level, and it can show an alert if the measured tilt goes past a set threshold. This feature was available to the ROG MATRIX series before this update.

Users open GPU Tweak III, select Level Sense, then either set a threshold immediately or run a calibration step after installing the card. ASUS lists a default threshold of 0.30 degrees, and lowering the value makes alerts more sensitive.

If the tilt exceeds the threshold, GPU Tweak III can display a warning and also surface notifications while the app runs in the background. ASUS suggests reinstalling the graphics card if an unusual installation angle is detected.

Before the Astral rollout, ASUS documented Level Sense support for the ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 5090 30th Anniversary models. The update shown here is GPU Tweak III v2.0.8.5.
