ZOTAC Korea warns of steep RTX 5090 and RTX 5060 price hikes, says some models may be unavailable for a while

ZOTAC Korea warns RTX 5090 and RTX 5060 prices are set to jump

ZOTAC Korea has published a new notice on its official TagTag Mall account, warning that upcoming graphics card supply conditions are worsening.

In the post, ZOTAC Korea says memory supply remains constrained and GPU supply volumes are expected to be reduced. The company adds that some graphics card models may not be available “for a while.”

Basically, ZOTAC is confirming earlier reports that graphics cards are set to face a new wave of shortages, but they specifically call out two models that will be the most affected. The notice claims both the RTX 5090 and RTX 5060 are facing large price increases, so it’s not limited to flagship models. They, however, do not mention RTX 5070 Ti, which was rumored to be most affected SKU, because NVIDIA allocation changes.

As a response, TakTak Mall is temporarily setting reward points to 0% and says the store aims to keep pricing as low as possible under current conditions. The notice is dated January 27, 2026.

ZOTAC Korea Co., Ltd. (translation)

We recently posted a notice about setting reward points to 2%.
We are sincerely sorry to post another reward-points notice again after only about a month.
The current situation is so serious that it raises concerns about whether graphics card manufacturers and distributors can continue to operate.
Memory supply is not coming in, and companies have announced that GPU supply volumes will be reduced.
Also, some models are said to be unavailable for a while.
Personally, there is also concern that, going forward, it may become difficult to secure stable supply of GPUs other than those Samsung can manufacture.
On top of that, the latest prices we received are unreasonable. Not only the RTX 5090, but the increase for the RTX 5060 is also enormous.
In this situation, TagTag Mall will try to supply products as cheaply as possible.
Accordingly, reward points will be set to 0% for a limited time.
We are truly sorry. We ask for your understanding, as this change is unavoidable.

We started this year with information about an ASUS price hike, but the Taiwanese company did not specifically mention graphics cards. However, there were multiple reports in December claiming that NVIDIA and AMD were increasing prices for board partners.

This month, we learned that NVIDIA was implementing a new prioritization scheme that would effectively pause several models. NVIDIA denied this and said all models were shipping. Just a few days ago, NVIDIA reportedly stopped supporting the Open Price Program , which Der8auer painted as ‘the end of MSRP models.’ Perhaps this is what ZOTAC message is referring to.
