Apple TV scores 9 Writers Guild Awards nominations, Pluribus leads with 4

Apple picked up nine nominations across drama, comedy, and children’s categories, with leading the pack as its most-nominated series. See the nominees below.

Today, Apple TV received a total of nine nominations for the WGA Awards, including Drama Series for , where it will be up against , , , and Apple TV’s own .

got a nod in the Comedy Series category, going up against , , , and .

In the New Series category, and also picked up nominations, going up against , , and .

also got nominated twice in the Episodic Drama category with episodes “Got Milk” and “Charm Offensive,” while was nominated with “7:00 A.M.”, was nominated with “A Still Small Voice,” for “Execution,” and for “Reunion”.

Meanwhile, in the Episodic Comedy category, ’s “The Promotion” episode will be up against with “A Call from God,” with “Pilot’s Code,” with “Prelude,” with “The Sleazy Georgian,” and with “Worms.”

Finally, Apple TV’s got a nod in the Children’s Episodic, Long Form and Specials category, going up against ’ “Stay Out of the Basement: Part 1,” ’ “I Play Dodgeball with Cannibals,” and ’s “When We Lose Someone”.

The WGA’s ceremony will take place on March 8, in simultaneous ceremonies in Los Angeles and New York.
