GIGABYTE promotes deeper AMD integration

GIGABYTE says it is expanding its work with AMD to push more “on-device AI” features across three product groups: gaming/creator laptops, X870E X3D motherboards, and OLED gaming monitors.
On the laptop side, GIGABYTE highlights two systems. The AORUS MASTER 16 uses the Ryzen 9 9955HX3D with 3D V-Cache , with GIGABYTE pointing to steadier frame rates in fast games and stronger creator performance. The company also calls out WINDFORCE Infinity EX cooling on that model, rated for up to 230W total thermal power. For thinner Copilot+ designs, the GIGABYTE AERO X16 uses Ryzen AI 400 Series processors, leaning on the built-in NPU for select local AI tasks. GIGABYTE also promotes GiMATE , described as an on-device AI agent used to manage power, performance, and AI-related settings in one place.
For desktops, GIGABYTE is positioning its X870E X3D series boards around Ryzen 9000 X3D CPUs. The headline feature here is X3D Turbo Mode 2.0 , described as an AI-assisted hardware and software tuning mode aimed at 3D V-Cache behavior, paired with a stronger power design, BIOS updates, and builder-focused features meant to reduce manual tuning.
GIGABYTE also points to OLED monitors certified for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro , including MO27Q28GR , MO34WQC36 , and MO32U24 . Alongside variable refresh support, the company lists “Tactical Features” such as Tactical Switch 2.0 (quick switching between resolutions and aspect ratios like 4:3 or 5:4), Aim Stabilizer (black frame insertion for motion clarity), and Game Assist overlays like crosshair and timer tools.
GIGABYTE’s announcement is dated January 29, 2026 , and frames the effort as a wider push across laptops, boards, and displays tied to AMD platforms. The company links more information through its CES 2026 event page at the end of the release.
