RAZER launches Synapse Web Beta, a lightweight browser app for quick device profiles

RAZER Synapse Web Beta goes live with limited keyboard support and simplified controls

RAZER has started beta testing Synapse Web , a browser-based way to tweak supported peripherals without installing Synapse on the PC. The idea is quick changes on shared systems, LAN setups, or locked-down machines where a full install is not practical.

What works and what doesn’t

Support is limited to three keyboards from the Huntsman V3 Pro family:

  • Razer Huntsman V3 Pro 8 kHz (RZ03-0553)
  • Razer Huntsman V3 Pro TKL 8 kHz (RZ03-0552)
  • Razer Huntsman V3 Pro Mini (RZ03-0499)

Synapse Web focuses on core controls, plus Chroma “quick effects” , and it can read and write on-board profiles stored in device memory.

RAZER says Synapse Web is verified on Chrome, Opera, and Microsoft Edge . Internet access is required to load the tool. After the page is loaded, Synapse Web can keep working offline until the browser session is closed.

Synapse Web is not a full replacement for Synapse 4. Advanced features still sit in the desktop app, including multi-device Chroma sync and game-specific profile switching.  RAZER also confirms Synapse Web does not support cloud profile sync right now.

RAZER recommends updating device firmware to avoid detection issues. Synapse Web also does not need extra drivers or browser extensions. The web platform has a minimum screen resolution requirement of 1280×720 .

RAZER says Synapse Web is available now as a beta test through the Synapse Web site, with more device support planned later.
