Apple TV’s hit neo-noir detective series Sugar is back for season 2 this year, with Colin Farrell returning. Here’s the release date.

But one of the more unique Apple series is a detective show called .

Sugar stars Colin Farrell as an LA-based private detective in a show that harkens the classic noir genre—albeit with a big twist that muddies the genre question.

The first season of Sugar aired in spring 2024, and now Apple the release date for season 2.

Sugar season 2 premieres Friday, June 19 with one episode, followed by weekly releases through August 7.

Season 1 was showrun by Mark Protosevich, the series creator. But for season 2, Sam Catlin has taken the showrunner reins. He was involved in season 1 too, and his previous work includes Breaking Bad and Preacher.
