Intel Core Ultra 9 290K Plus scores 3535 in Geekbench, now over 10% above 285K average
A fresh Geekbench result lists the Intel Core Ultra 9 290K Plus with a 5.7 GHz clock during the test.

The entry shows a system running on an ASUS ROG STRIX Z890-E GAMING WIFI board and upcoming Intel Arrow Lake Refresh SKU known as 290K Plus, the new flagship desktop CPU. Memory is listed as 64 GB of DDR5-6800 Geekbench reports a 24-core setup split into two clusters (8 and 16), with a listed maximum frequency of 5.6 GHz.
Compared to the earlier Core Ultra 9 290K Plus leak (3456 single-core, 24610 multi-core), this new run is about 2.3% faster in single-core and about 2.0% faster in multi-core. The older score was posted on a Gigabyte Z890 AORUS TACHYON ICE system with 48 GB of DDR5-8000 and a Balanced power plan, so this is not apples-to-apples comparison.

The Geekbench official ranking chart for the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K currently shows 3200 single-core and 22560 multi-core. Against that 285K, the new 290K Plus run is about 10.5% higher in single-core and about 11.3% higher in multi-core.
As you recall, 270K Plus which will be released alongside 250K and 290K, has also leaked on Geekbench. This SKU should also feature the same 24-core layout but lower frequency. The last time we saw this CPU it scored 3235 single-core and 21368 multi-core on a Gigabyte Z890 EAGLE WIFI7 system with 64 GB of DDR5-4800 (so basically close to 285K result).
Intel still has not announced any Arrow Lake “Plus” desktop refresh for LGA-1851, but the repeated 24-core listings suggest clocks and platform tuning are the main changes.
