DDR5 memory price increases in Germany reportedly came to a stop (at least for now)

DDR5 pricing in German retail has stopped climbing in the last few days. Based on the latest snapshot from 3DCenter using Geizhals “cheapest available” listings, the average price level across 20 DDR5 products is only +0.1% higher than in mid-January, even though individual kits still fluctuate.
That pause is visible across multiple common capacities and speeds. Several mainstream options are flat to slightly down versus the mid-January reference point, and 3DCenter notes that small decreases are showing up again for the first time in a while, alongside minor increases on other SKUs.
This pause does not mean memory prices have peaked. 3DCenter points out that supply-side pressure can still show up later, because contract pricing usually lags the spot market and can push retail again even after a short break.
For now, German DDR5 prices are basically treading water. After the big jumps in late 2025 and January 2026, the February 1 snapshot looks almost the same as mid-January on average.
The increase in DDR5 prices at German retailers has come to an complete halt in recent days. Although many prices were still fluctuating, there was only an average price increase of +0.1% compared to mid-January. https://t.co/cVLGc32iwW pic.twitter.com/lWipvv4pOX
