GTA 6 on track for November 19 launch, still no mention of PC version

Take-Two used its latest quarterly update to keep the messaging simple around Grand Theft Auto VI. The company is lining up its next public beats, and Take-Two says marketing for the game starts this summer.
Physical disc GTA6 confirmed
One of the recent rumors claimed that Take-Two may not launch the game on physical discs, supposedly to curb possible leaks. CEO Strauss Zelnick addressed those rumors. In a Variety interview, Zelnick was asked about the claim directly and replied: “That’s not the plan. ” Take-Two did not add more detail on editions or timing, but the comment is a clear pushback on the “digital-only at launch” idea.
In the prepared statement for the 2026 financial outlook, Zelnick reiterated that the company is sticking to the November 19 launch date for GTA 6:
With ongoing momentum across many of our businesses, and the highly anticipated launch of Grand Theft Auto VI on November 19th, we continue to project record levels of Net Bookings in Fiscal 2027, which we believe will establish a new financial baseline for our business, set us on a path to enhanced profitability, and provide further balance sheet strength and flexibility.”
— Strauss Zelnick, Take-Two CEO
Zelnick also explained why marketing talk matters as the date gets closer. Zelnick said that when a company is approaching marketing beats, confidence in the schedule is “as high as it can be.” He also added that the marketing for GTA6 should kick off this summer, so those expecting a trailer this month may be disappointed. But who really knows? Maybe we will get a trailer for a trailer?
To sum up, GTA 6 is still heading for a November 19, 2026 release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, including physical versions. There’s still no mention of a PC version, but we kind of know about PC support, given that most leaks featured RTX 20-era GPUs in development systems.
