System integrator claims that SSD and other parts prices are going up again

PowerGPU flags fresh SSD and component cost increases

PowerGPU just put out a price increase alert, saying SSD costs have gone up again and that other PC parts are also getting more expensive. PowerGPU says whatever is in stock right now is basically the last batch at the old pricing. The post does not say which “other parts” are affected.

The timing matches what’s been floating around in the memory market. Analyst firm TrendForce has Q1 2026 conventional DRAM contract pricing pegged for a 90% to 95% jump quarter over quarter, with AI and data center demand listed as the main reason. NAND pricing seems to be moving in similar direction.

*PRICE INCREASE ALERT*

We just got word that SSD and other part prices have gone up again.

So what is in stock right now is the last at that price. Expect price increases by early next week.

The post doesn’t specifically mention GPUs, but vague “other parts” line could cover a lot. Board Channels-based rumors say AMD add-in-board pricing already climbed around 5% to 10% in January, with another bump being discussed for February or March. However, from what we can see, PowerGPU does not sell AMD Radeon GPUs.

PowerGPU says that once its current inventory is gone, and they warn of increases “by early next week.” From February 5, 2026.
