ASUS ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 5090D v2 30th Anniversary listed at 29,999 RMB

ASUS has listed the ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 5090D v2 30th Anniversary Edition for pre-order in China at 29,999 RMB (around $4300). The card is built around RTX 5090 D v2 and uses a dual power input design tied to ASUS’ BTF ecosystem. It’s a second variant of the ROG MATRIX, which already launched as RTX 5090 globally.
Both cards are nearly identical, however there are some changes, especially since we are talking about the 5090D V2. Still, ASUS says the card can reach up to 800W when paired with a BTF motherboard and a 12V-2×6 cable, with the company positioning this as an overclocking mode.
So the main difference is 24GB of GDDR7 on a 384-bit bus at 28 Gbps. The RTX 5090 and older RTX 5090D (now discontinued) models had 32GB 512-bit memory instead. However, the card keeps 21,760 CUDA cores and boost clocks up to 2,760 MHz in OC mode. Display outputs are 2x HDMI 2.1b plus 3x DisplayPort 2.1b, with a maximum digital resolution of 7680 × 4320.

For power and sizing, ASUS lists a 1200W-plus PSU recommendation, a 3.9-slot design, and dimensions of 370.3 × 150.5 × 77.3 mm. The power section references a 16-pin connector plus the BTF GC-HPWR interface.

The card is identical in therms of design, still quad-fan layout, a copper vapor chamber, heatpipes, liquid metal, and a “Memory Defroster” feature intended for liquid nitrogen sessions. ASUS also lists Power Detector+ and a level sensor for position monitoring.
The card was already presented by the ASUS China boss last month, where he showcased it could score 28,638 points in 3DMark Time Spy Extreme with ASUS 800W mode enabled.
