Intel Core Ultra 5 250K Plus listed on Geekbench with 18 cores

Intel Core Ultra 5 250K Plus tested on ASUS Z890 board in Geekbench

Intel’s upcoming Core Ultra 5 250K Plus desktop CPU has appeared in the Geekbench database. The listing shows a 6P+12E layout . It also reports a 4.2 GHz base frequency and a 5.3 GHz maximum frequency, with Arrow Lake listed as the codename.

The benchmark run was posted under an ASUS PRIME Z890-P WIFI platform with 32 GB of system memory, running Windows 11 64-bit. Geekbench reports a 3,113 single-core score and a 15,251 multi-core score for this entry. While Geekbench does not offer official ranking data for Core Ultra 5 245K, we did some comparisons regardless. In short, this isn’t a great score, the single-core test is slightly above average for Core Ultra 5 245K by 5%, while multi-core is actually lower by 8.5% (based on one page of benchmarks). This means that the platform wasn’t optimized.

This result lines up with earlier Arrow Lake Refresh leaks that describe the Core Ultra 5 250K Plus as a step up from the Core Ultra 5 245K by adding four E-cores, while keeping the same listed 125 W base and 159W maximum turbo power limits. Those same leak tables also point to DDR5-7200 support for the “Plus” refresh parts.

As we previously reported the Core Ultra 9 290K Plus has been dropped from Intel’s Arrow Lake Refresh plans, even though early silicon has already been circulating in various tests. The 270K and 250K, on the other hand, will be released next month.
