NVIDIA locks in GTC 2026 keynote for March 16 in San Jose

NVIDIA has published the schedule for its GTC 2026 keynote. The main keynote is listed for Monday, March 16, running from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. PDT. The company says the keynote will be held live at SAP Center in San Jose. It also lists a separate “GTC Live 2026 Keynote Pregame” show the same day, scheduled for 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. PDT.
NVIDIA’s GTC 2026 page also lists the broader event dates as March 16 to 19, with workshops scheduled for March 15. NVIDIA is providing calendar add options for the livestream on the keynote page.

At last year’s GTC keynote, Jensen Huang used the event to outline a data center platform roadmap. NVIDIA discussed Blackwell production and said Blackwell Ultra systems were planned for the second half of 2025, followed by the Vera Rubin platform in 2026 and Rubin Ultra in 2027.
The 2025 keynote also put a spotlight on robotics and simulation. NVIDIA announced the Isaac GR00T N1 humanoid robot foundation model and described related simulation tooling, including the Newton physics engine effort with Google DeepMind and Disney Research. NVIDIA also discussed automotive initiatives such as its Halos safety system and work with General Motors.
GTC is NVIDIA’s premier show that focuses mostly on data-center, AI and robotics, needless to say one shouldn’t expect major announcements for consumers. And by the way, I think the they made a new GTC logo.
