Komplett runs GTA 6 “launch day baby” giveaway tied to November 19, 2026
A Norwegian retailer is leaning into the date with a promo that sounds like a joke but seems to be real. Komplett says you can get a free copy of the game if your baby is born on launch day.
Komplett is promoting the deal on Instagram and in-store ads, leaning hard on the nine-month timing. One post roughly translates to, “lie together today, get GTA 6 free from us in 9 months,” and it also says it is “not a joke.” If the offer is honored, the claim process is going to involve the most unusual proof-of-eligibility check tied to a game launch.
Komplett has not published full terms in the third-party coverage we could access, so it is unclear what documentation is required, whether this is limited to certain editions, or how claims are handled if the release date changes again. The entire concept depends on launch day not moving any forward.
Rockstar has already pushed Grand Theft Auto VI back once, it was first dated for May 26, 2026, and it is now scheduled for November 19, 2026.
