Beyond the Smartphone: How Sony and TSMC’s New Alliance Will Redefine Mirrorless Sensors?

Sony and TSMC partnership has now been finalized. This is aimed at strengthening Sony’s mobile image sensor business. Still, whatever technological advancement comes out of this venture could find its way onto larger sensors too. I do expect, for example, that the LYTIA tech might find its way onto some APS-C and full-frame cameras, as it allows for incredible dynamic range without the penalty of lower rolling shutter (like we have on the Dual Gain tech).

Hong Kong’s main psychiatric hospital has unveiled the city’s first facility exclusively dedicated to child and adolescent patients, as part of a wider redevelopment that offers upgraded wards designed to enhance service quality and foster recovery.
