Held at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos, the annual ceremony celebrates achievements in African film, television and digital storytelling, while also serving

Iran has sent its response to US proposals to end the war via mediators in Pakistan, Iranian state media report.

No details have been released. The US has not made details of its proposals public, either, but reports suggest they centre on a 14-point memorandum of understanding, which could lead to negotiations on Iran's nuclear ambitions.

A ceasefire meant to facilitate talks to end the war launched by the US and Israel in February has been largely observed, despite occasional exchanges of fire.

How could extreme weather affect World Cup 2026?

There are six host cities (Miami, Houston, Dallas, Monterrey, Kansas City and Atlanta) where the WBGT could feasibly reach at least 32C (90F) during the afternoon which would be considered as extreme heat stress where the body really struggles to keep itself cool.

To reduce these risks, matches are generally scheduled outside the hottest part of the day, with many kick-offs taking place in the late afternoon or evening. Scotland's group C game against Brazil in Miami, for example

When Indian model Bhavitha Mandava arrived at this year's Met Gala, the reaction to her look was unusually divided.

From a distance, her Chanel outfit looked disarmingly simple: a sheer zip-up jacket and what appeared to be a pair of low-slung jeans. Around her, the usual theatre unfolded - sculpted gowns and silhouettes, before their wearers could.

In comparison, Mandava's look
