Mali's defence minister has been killed in an apparent suicide truck bombing on his residence near the capital Bamako.

Multiple news outlets reported the death of Sadio Camara, part of by jihadist militants and separatists carried out across the country.

Sawe smashes two-hour mark to 'move goalposts for marathon running'

Sabastian Sawe made history at the London Marathon by becoming the first athlete to run a sub-two-hour marathon in a competitive race.

Donald Trump cancelled a planned trip by US officials to Pakistan for talks on the Iran war on Saturday, shortly after Tehran's delegation had left Islamabad.

Orbán steps down from Hungarian parliament after landslide defeat
