International Criminal Court officials sanctioned by US

The US has imposed sanctions on senior officials in the International Criminal Court (ICC), including chief prosecutor Fatou Bensouda.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo accused the court of "illegitimate attempts to subject Americans to its jurisdiction".

The Hague-based ICC is currently investigating whether US forces committed war crimes in Afghanistan.

Officials investigate 'guy in jetpack' seen flying near LA airport

The FBI is investigating reports that a "guy in a jetpack" was seen by pilots flying near Los Angeles' LAX airport nearby to where planes were landing.

The incident, which was recorded by air traffic controllers, happened on Sunday evening and was witnessed by pilots on two separate planes.

The apparent culprit was seen flying at an elevation of 3,000ft (915 meters).

Georgia man who struck reporter's rear pleads guilty to sexual battery

A man in the US state of Georgia filmed striking a female reporter's backside during a live TV broadcast has pleaded guilty to a sexual battery charge.

Thomas Callaway was sentenced to a year on probation and must pay a $1,000 (£750) fine.

Erick Morillo: 'I like to move it' DJ dead at 49

Erick Morillo, the internationally-recognised DJ best known for the track 'I Like to Move It', has been found dead in Miami, local police have said.

His death comes less than a month after his arrest for sexually assaulting a female DJ after working a gig together.

Police said the 49-year old was found dead in his Miami Beach home, but have released few details as the investigation begins.
