Bodycam footage showed the moment a rescuer reached a family of three, and their dogs, sheltering in their destroyed house as water flooded parts of Uvalde county, Texas.
The rescuer airlifted a girl to safety, telling the rest of the family that another helicopter was on the way to take them.
At least two people have died in flooding across central Texas - the same area that saw more than 130 deaths in flash floods last summer.

At least 20 schoolchildren and one adult have been killed after a bus carrying pupils on a study trip crashed in eastern Uganda, local officials say, in one of the country's deadliest road accidents involving children in recent years.
Dozens of others, including school staff, were injured in the crash in Kapchorwa area on Thursday evening.
