Best known for his roles in Jurassic Park and Peaky Blinders, the 78-year-old's family described his death earlier this week as "sudden and unexpected".
Neill's long-time agent Philip Grenz released a statement on Thursday about the cause of death after speaking to the actor's family and due to what he said were "inaccurate and outright falsehoods"
Orange haze from Canada wildfires seen in Ontario and northern US
Smoke and orange haze from hundreds of active wildfires in Canada has spread across Ontario and towards northern US states.
There are currently 838 wildfires actively burning across the country, according to the Canadian Interagency Forest Fire Centre.
Officials say the smoke will not be as severe as it was in 2023, when Quebec wildfire smoke blanketed the US East Coast.
Blanche apologises on Capitol Hill for Epstein files 'mistakes'
The day before Blanche's confirmation hearing, a federal judge quashed a settlement between Trump, his business and family, and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
The deal included immunity from future audits and the creation of a $1.7bn (£1.2bn) "anti-weaponisation fund" for people who believed they were unfairly targeted by the government.
The settlement had sparked bipartisan outrage on Capitol Hill, and senators from both parties questioned Blanche about the agreement. Republican senators, in particular
'That's why he's the king' - Messi sets up third World Cup final
It is easy to forget Messi, then at Barcelona and aged 29, actually retired from international football in 2016.
He had lost the 2014 World Cup final to Germany and three Copa America finals.
Since reversing that decision he has won the Copa America twice.
When Messi - then of PSG - lifted the World Cup in Qatar in 2022, it felt as if the final piece of the jigsaw of his career was complete.
Many considered that the final thing missing from
A Cold War bunker gets a luxury makeover as 'doomsday' condos
"From here to anywhere" is the motto of Debert's business park, but it feels like the middle of nowhere.
Just 113km (70 miles) north of Halifax, Nova Scotia, on Canada's east coast, it was once a military base where thousands of soldiers trained during World War Two. Now it's a mix old buildings and empty parking lots, bordered by thin, coniferous woods.
But there is promise of a luxurious and glamorous future in the large grassy hump
New monkey species with orange lips found 'hiding' in DRC forest
A monkey that has striking pinkish-orange lips and a black face - and lives in the forests of the Democratic Republic of Congo - has been confirmed as a new species to science.
The black-furred primate was spotted and photographed hidden away in the high tree canopy of dense tropical forests in Lomami National Park, in the central east of the country.
Conservationists working there first reported seeing this unusual-looking animal back in 2008. But they captured just one blurry photograph.

Families of 43 victims await verdict in Genoa bridge disaster
Families of the victims are calling for answers after so many years of uncertainty.
Egle Possetti, who also represents the victims' families committee, says she and other relatives of the deceased hope responsibility will be clearly pinned down.
"For so many years, lawyers told us that what happened was no-one's fault, that it was just an accident. But this decision could be symbolically so important. Finding who is responsible could give us some sort of peace and a sense of justice."

Argentina face fine for Falklands banner in semi-final win
After Wednesday's victory, Argentina vice-president Victoria Villarruel posted on X , writing "it wasn't just another match" alongside a video of what appeared to be Argentine soldiers.
"The Falklands are Argentine," Villarruel posted. "They banned bringing them to the stadium and forgot that we carry them in our blood and our hearts."
In the build-up to the game, Villarruel had said the semi-final was "about putting the invaders in their place".

US military to start testosterone testing, Hegseth says
Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth has announced that military personnel aged 30 and older will undergo testing for testosterone deficiency as part of annual health screenings.
In a video posted on X, captioned "High-T Department", Hegseth said he was authorising the screening programme for troops to ensure "you have the right testosterone levels to operate at your absolute best".
Troops with low testosterone levels will be offered voluntary hormone replacement therapy. The tests will be optional for those younger than 30.
Hegseth did not specify whether the
Crackdown on 'objectionable' books in Indian-administered Kashmir sparks row
The order follows recent protests by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which governs nationally but is in opposition in Jammu and Kashmir, over two government school library books it said glorified separatist leaders and promoted anti-national sentiments.
The books - profiles of "great personalities" from Jammu and Kashmir that had been in school libraries since 2023 - were withdrawn after the uproar. Police later arrested three people linked to their publication, while the administration suspended eight education department officials.
Last week's order,
