Unexpected: Sigma 135mm f/1.8 FE lens marked as discontinued in Japan

Asobinet noticed the Sigma 135mm FE has been marked as discontinued at Yodobashi. The lens was first announced in early 2017 so maybe Sigma is working on an updated version? If you want to get this lens you can still find it in Stock at Amazon US&EU and BHphoto .

There is also a Samyang 135mm f/1.8 that sells for $699 only at Amazon US&EU and BHphoto .

Reuters photographer (and Sony gear user) Issam Abdallah killed in Gaza

Please don’t start any political discussion here about a complex matter. But we can all agree that it’s a terrible thing when journalists (and in general innocents) are killed. The photo on top shows the gear used by Issam Abdallah at the moment of his killing. Not that it really matters, but he was using the A7IV with 200-600mm G lens to report about the ongoing war.
